Install tutorial for mac tiger

Hi , I've downloaded Hugin for mac , but realize that for Tiger I need emblend / enfuse 4.0 rather than the ones in the tool folder. So I've downloaded that , but any instructions I can find for installing are way too incomprehensible for my level of computer literacy , and I was wondering if there is a tutorial or walkthrough to get me started. Any help appreciated , as from what I can see Hugin is great - I get as far as Preview pane with a nice panorama but no further.
