Why does the generation of a table take so long?

If the table of a node is specified as and expression where some parents are interval nodes, then generation of the child table may be time consuming. For each state of each parent a predefined number of "samples" are generated. The default value is 25. This number may be changed under "Functions->Expressions->Samples/Interval" in table view.
