Simulate cases with action, function & gain nodes

Hi All,

I am trying to simulate cases for a network including action, function and gain nodes.
Action and gain nodes seems to block the functionalities ..

Is this expected .. ?  Any ways around this ?

Hi Ed,

The functionality to simulate cases in influence diagrams has not yet been enabled. We will enable this functionality in the next version.

It is possible to simulate a single case using "Network->simluate variable configuration ...". This may, however, not be sufficient for your needs.

One possible way around this issue is to write a small Excel macro (or program) using the HUGIN APIs to perform the task for you. This requires that you have access to the APIs though.

Alternatively, we can develop the functionality on a consultancy basis and provide you with the functionality through a build update. If this is an option you will like to consider, then please contact sales@hugin.dk.
