Observation of many states
« on: June 28, 2011, 22:52:23 »
Hello,

I want to know how that takes place if I obtain an uncertain observation (several states in the same time).

In fact, I have already noticed that this problem can be resolved with Netica but I do not find how's that is made at the level inference if the observation gets several states in the same time.

Can you help me to understand this phenomenon? And, is it possible to supply to me some references?

Best Regards.

If you have found that some states of some node are impossible (and the remaining states are possible), then you can specify a likelihood finding for the node with value 0 for the impossible states and value 1 for the possible states.

See Section 8.1 in the Hugin API Reference Manual for more information about likelihood evidence.
