Entering evidence...
« on: October 28, 2011, 17:57:15 »
Hi,

If I have a Discrete interval node, with 10 states, in a running network...and I at some point know that the likelihood of states 1,2,3,4 in that node is zero. How do I update the network with this information and how does the network handle this new information?

Best,
rwalk

Hi,

Section 8.2 Entering Evidence of the HUGIN API Reference Manual (http://www.hugin.com/technology/documentation/api-manuals) describes how the function
Code: [Select]
h_node_enter_finding can be used to enter evidence that is not a simple instantiation. A similar function is available in the other APIs to the HUGIN Decision Engine.
