Align Pics for Focus Stacking
« on: December 03, 2017, 20:11:08 »
Hello Folks,
I often do macro with focus stacking and since I moved to Linux a get rid to all non free and/or non "libre" software.
So I want to get rid of Helicon/Zerene and use Hugin instead as well.
Unfortunately, where the two mentionned above align the pic series correctly, I just can't find the right setup with align_image_stack to achieve the same sharpness once they are "enfused"...
Notes : photo series are shooted with professionnal equipment in ideal conditions (tripod, macro, mini-studio, smooth focus adjsutement, etc.)

Anyone experienced in that to advice?

Thank you in advance
Francois

Hello,

Are you aware that our HUGIN is a tool for probabilistic graphical models?

Best regards
