Prediction with Hugin
« on: November 15, 2007, 17:26:54 »
With reference to the prediction issue, how and where do I get the predicted values of one variable, given the learned network? This is useful to measure the percentages of successes. Moreover how can I estimated the ROC area?

The Analysis Wizard of the HUGIN Graphical User Interface enables the user to load a set of cases and to compute the belief of each state of a target variable.

The HUGIN software does not have a functionality for computing the ROC area.

Thank you very much for your reply.
But actually I need to know the estimated number of subjects (for example number of deads) given the learned network of its factors (for example given male, aged 65 with angina and so on).
